Nigeria is really the best place to invest. It is the best kept secret actually in terms of investment... -Aliko Dangote-

Just finished watching the Aliko Dangote's interview, featured on CNN, and if you had told me that a Nigeria, any Nigerian would be named the richest African in the whole of Africa, I'd probably have called your bluff. After watching the interview i wasn't completely sure that he'd made his fortune through hardwork and dedication so i did a little digging of my own, well, google digging at least and it turns out he actually made his money through hardwork and dedication, well, as hardworking and dedicated a Nigerian can get. He graduated from a decent university in Cairo, Egypt and then started his now multi billion dollar company The Dangote Group and let me tell you, that company has made him and his family one rich, happy family and I'm talking $2 billion rich!! His company owns revenues in food processing, cement manufacturing, and freight and his sugar company under the name Dangote Sugar Refinery is booming! I'm talking Nigeria-stock-exchange booming!!

But still, one question his wealth. Did he really make all his money through his company? And what about all the rumors going on about him being really besties with OBJ, former Nigerian President and funding his campaign in 2003. I feel anyone associated with OBJ can't really be considered honest or good...

But whatever the case... good job Dangote! You've put us, Nigerians, on the map as a Nation with great future prospects.
